You can stretch the side plate to allow more room for HDMI cable. The side plate comes with a built-in cold shoe that allows for mounting a microphone or light for vlog shooting and features a 1/4Ħħ-20 threaded hole to attach the quick release plate on the gimbal for vertical shooting.
