The colors complement each other beautifully. This is an inlaid chess board with the finest wood veneers and is handcrafted to exacting standards. The board is sealed in a satin polyurethane finish to protect the wood. An extra wide frame adds substantial size to the chess board and provides enough room for sitting captured pieces while a black inlay border creates a sharp delineation surrounding the playing area. The squares are 1.5' and the board measures 14' overall.
