This impressive chess set from the craftsmen at Italfama includes the Roman Emperor Bust metal theme chess pieces and their Walnut Burl and Whitened Bird's-Eye Maple Chess Board. This chess set depicts each piece as a statue on a Roman column and are easily recognized for what piece each one represents. Made of cast zinc using the old-world lost wax casting process, the pieces brass and nickel plated and then sealed with a lacquer to keep them from tarnishing over time.
