Our loose-piece chess box is a great way for storing plastic or wooden chess pieces. The box is made from heavy chipboard (cardboard) and covered on the outside with an attractive black leather-like paper and our logo in gold foil. It has two compartments for separating the pieces and a full telescoping lid the full height of the box so it securely stays on. The overall size is 7' x 5' x 3' and will hold most smaller sets like our Master Series or Club Series Plastic sets with a 3.75' king. More bulky sets will require the large box. The chess box offers an affordable and attractive way to store your chess pieces.
