This Autographed Dated September 29, 1802 & Framed 16x19.75 Four Language Ship's Passport Document has been Personally Signed by Thomas Jefferson & James Madison. This item is 100% Authentic to include a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) / hologram by JSA. The authenticity can be verified on JSA website. The document grants permission to 'James Webb of New York, master or commander of the Ship called the Maryland of the burthen of 3/14 tons or thereabouts, lying at present in the port of New York bound for London and laden with Ashes, Bark, Cotton, Crackers, Turpentine, Boards, Spars & Tummels…' With two large white paper seals intact at the left. The document has flattened folds, with separations, holes, and edge chipping.
