Derek Tsang and Zhou Dongyu, the director and star of the 2016 feature Soul Mate , work together again for the blockbuster alongside popular teen idol Jackson Yee of TFBOYS in his film debut. In the days leading up to the college entrance exams, a bullied classmate leaps to her death at school. Chen Nian reveals what she knows to authorities, only to herself become the target of the bullies. During these tumultuous times, she meets another lonely outsider, Bei Ye (Jackson Yee), while he is fighting on the streets, and he becomes her silent protector.
