One of Hong Kong's most popular and acclaimed TV productions of recent years, the hit 2014 police drama Line Walker revolved around five undercover cops and their dealings with triads, the drug trade and corruption. The series was the big winner of TVB's 2014 TV Awards Presentation, netting several prizes including Best Drama and Best Actress. Two years later, Line Walker leaps to the silver screen with a film spinoff directed by the series' producer Jazz Boon and produced by veteran filmmaker Wong Jing. Reprising her award-winning role as a spunky, street-smart undercover, Charmaine Sheh is joined by movie stars Louis Koo, Nick Cheung and Francis Ng in brand new roles. Hui Siu Hung, whose mob boss character in the original series was an audience favorite, also returns for the crime thriller. Upping the ante with location shooting in Brazil and high-octane action choreographed by Chin Kar Lok, Line Walker continues the battle between good and evil while exploring the ambiguous roles and loyalties of undercover officers. Undercover agent Ding (Charmaine Sheh) receives a mysterious coded message from someone named Blackjack who claims to be a fellow undercover who has lost contact with the police force. After reporting the message to handler Inspector Q (Francis Ng), she reluctantly returns to the field to liaison with Blackjack who reveals himself to be Shiu (Louis Koo), the right-hand man of Lam (Nick Cheung), a high-level executive for a shady finance group. As Inspector Q delves further into the group's involvement in the drug trade, tensions grow between longtime friends Shiu and Lam, neither of whom may be what they seem. This edition comes with making-of and trailers.
