In 2008, Kwon Hyung Jin directed the film Truck which follows a desperate man who realizes that his passenger is a serial killer. In his 2015 suspense thriller Deep Trap , a couple realizes they may be trapped on a remote island with a killer. Still dealing with the grief of a miscarriage, married couple Joon Sik (Jo Han Sun, A Better Tomorrow ) and So Yeon (Kim Min Kyung) decide to take a trip together. Based only on information from social media, they end up at a villa owned by the mysterious Sung Cheol (Ma Dong Seok, Veteran ) and Min Hee (Ji An). An accident happens and suddenly the vacation turns into an all-out fight for survival.
