In the same vein as the Sex and Zen and Erotic Ghost Story series, Yu Pui Tsuen III is a campy 90s erotic period film with genre regular Elvis Tsui in the leading role. Directed by Lai Kai Keung, the Category III classic follows Ming Dynasty agent Ling Ling Ling (Elvis Tsui), who is very afraid of his wife (Strawberry Yeung). Ling is also very eager to serve his country, but he has yet to be assigned an undercover mission. One day, he gets dispatched to a brothel to investigate a case relating to aphrodisiacs. After much thought, he decides to stay at the brothel under the guise of writing the erotic novel Yu Pui Tsuen .
