Janice Man ( Helios ) takes on her most daring role in the suspense thriller Nessun Dorma , the second collaboration between director Herman Yau and screenwriter Erica Li after the well-received Sara . Co-starring Gordon Lam ( Trivisa ) and singer Andy Hui, the film, which premiered at the 2016 Hong Kong International Film Festival, depicts the post-traumatic transformation of a woman and her relationships with her fianc and the man she loves. Socialite Jasmine (Janice Man) is engaged to wealthy playboy Vincent (Gordon Lam), but secretly loves widowed school teacher Fong (Andy Hui). At a loss about her feelings and future, she visits Fong one rainy night in hopes of getting some answers about their relationship, but gets rejected. On her way home, Jasmine is attacked and loses consciousness. When she wakes up, she finds herself naked and locked up in a room.
