Protagonist Noctis Lucis Caelum, heir to the Lucis kingdom, sets out on an epic adventure to reclaim his homeland and magical crystal from Niflheim. Shimomura Yoko, who has worked on the Kingdom Hearts and Seiken Densetsu series, serves as the main composer for the game's soundtrack which contains over 80 tracks.
