Using the same witty, winsome approach as in 2011's Au Revoir Taipei , Taiwanese director Arvin Chen's Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow deals with the more mature themes of midlife crisis, marital discord and homosexuality. The nine-year marriage of a happily married couple played by Richie Jen and Mavis Fan faces a bottleneck when the wife finds out about her husband's relationship with another man. The film offers a down-to-earth, neutral take on the potentially controversial topic. Convincing performances by Richie Jen, Mavis Fan, Mayday's Stone ( Starry Starry Night ), Kimi Hsia ( Zone Pro Site ) and Lawrence Ko ( Jump Ashin! ) add to the brilliance of the script. Funny fantasy scenes that playfully make references to Korean dramas, junk food and more are another memorable highlight of the film. Childhood sweethearts Wei Chung (Richie Jen) and Feng (Mavis Fan) lead a seemingly perfect married life together with their son until Wei Chung meets a younger man (Stephen Wong Kar Lok, L For Love, L For Lies ) who awakens the feelings he thought he had long left behind. Feng senses something wrong in their longtime marriage and worries that she could wake up without Wei Chung one day. Wei Chung's sister Mandy (Kimi Hsia) is also at a crossroad she runs away from her fianc San San (Stone) after a trip to an outlet store, putting San San in a confusing and awkward position.
