Prepare for vampires, hijinks and martial arts in Jeff Lau's 1990 horror action comedy Mortuary Blues . The film features action choreography by Yuen Mo and Corey Yuen, who also stars in the film alongside comedy favorites Sandra Ng and Sheila Chan. In a certain remote fishing village, the villagers aren't productive but they all seem to be living in luxury. This arouses the suspicion of the police chief (Corey Yuen), who thinks the village may be engaging in illegal activities. Meanwhile, actors from an opera troupe get hold of a treasure map. It turns out that three centuries ago, the villagers' ancestors raided a government ship and stole the treasure after killing those onboard. The villagers have been living off the loot to this day. The opera troupe tries to enter a pagoda that supposedly holds the treasure, and instead awakens the vengeful vampire within. First Press comes with a postcard, only available while supplies last.
