Peter Ho teams up again with the makers of Shining Days for the romance series Beautiful Secret co-starring f(x)'s Victoria Song. Appearing in her second drama after When Love Walks In , Victoria plays Jiang Meili, a young and cheery woman working as a courier to support her adoptive family. Peter Ho is top music producer Guan Yi who discovers by chance Meili's singing talents and persists in signing and developing her as a singer. Over time, the two begin to fall for each other, fueling a rivalry between Meili and Guan Yi's bitter ex-girlfriend, popular singer Ruolin (Xian Zi). At the same time, through a series of circumstances, Meili ends up posing as the long-lost daughter of Wang Xuan (Li Ying), a former singer who also happens to be Ruolin's stepmother, and moving in with her family. What the guilt-ridden Meili doesn't know, however, is that Wang Xuan really is the birth mother who abandoned her years ago.
