Also co-starring Hu Ge and Wan Qian, the neo-noir thriller crafts a gritty, neon-washed maze of wild chases, violent confrontations and double-crosses. Police captain Liu (Liao Fan) is in hot pursuit of fugitive criminal Zhou (Hu Ge), who went on the run after killing an officer. The investigation leads him to Zhou's estranged wife Yang (Wan Qian), his friend Hua Hua (Dao Qi) and Liu Aiai (Gwei Lun Mei), an enigmatic prostitute who has unclear relations with Zhou. As the manhunt unfolds, different people with different motives get pulled into the deadly escalation of crime and punishment.
