Andy Lau teams up with French legend Jean Reno in the globe-hopping action-adventure The Adventurers ! Also co-starring Shu Qi, Zhang Jingchu, Yo Yang and Eric Tsang, The Adventurers delivers genre entertainment with complex heist set-ups and action sequences in glitzy locales. After getting betrayed by an insider, storied thief Dan (Andy Lau) was caught and sent to prison. Five years later, he saunters out of jail and promptly meets up with his hacker sidekick Po (Yo Yang) and new partner Red (Shu Qi) for another heist. The three con their way into a charity auction at Cannes and make off with a valuable jewelry piece, much to the consternation of dogged French inspector Pierre (Jean Reno) who has chased Dan for years. At the behest of his longtime mentor (Eric Tsang), Dan agrees to steal the final piece of a priceless trio of jewelry from an eccentric tycoon in Prague. Meanwhile, Pierre recruits Dan's aggrieved ex-fiancee Amber (Zhang Jingchu) to help track down Dan.
