Lee Byung Hun, who in recent years has played a ruthless gangster in films like Inside Men and Master , shows his sentimental side in the mystery drama A Single Rider from first-time director Lee Joo Young, who was nominated for Best New Director at the 2017 Baeksang Arts Awards. The actor delicately portrays the inner struggle of a regretful man who discovers the love affair of his wife played by Kong Hyo Jin ( Missing ). Ahn So Hee ( Train to Busan ) co-stars as a young girl working in Australia on a working holiday visa. Talented fund manager Jae Hoon (Lee Byung Hun) loses his job overnight when his company goes bankrupt. After realizing the importance of his family, he travels to Australia to meet his wife Soo Jin (Kong Hyo Jin) and son. However, he becomes suspicious of the relationship between Soo Jin and her Australian neighbor. To find out the truth, he keeps a close eye on them and discovers that Soo Jin is planning to start a new life in Australia.
