Ip Man is back! The blockbuster period action film series starring Donnie Yen as martial arts legend Ip Man picks up with the third installment set in 1959 Hong Kong. Again directed by Wilson Yip with action direction by Yuen Woo Ping, Ip Man 3 brings in a new set of pressing conflicts and sparring opponents for the Wing Chun grandmaster to take on, including The Grandmaster 's Max Zhang and Mike Tyson. Having established his reputation as the top martial arts master in town, Ip Man (Donnie Yen) carries on a quiet, low-key life with wife Wing Sing (Lynn Xiong) and their young son. Trouble, however, is never far away. When a gang boss (Mike Tyson) and his top henchman (Patrick Tam) terrorize the local elementary school in hopes of acquiring the land it occupies, Ip Man steps in to protect the school and its students, but his actions turn him and his son into the targets of the mob. Meanwhile, there's also a new martial artist (Max Zhang) in town, and he's determined to topple Ip Man and prove himself as the true practitioner of Wing Chun.
