Hacken Lee kickstarts 2009 with his long-awaited new album Today Special , followed by the latest version of his ultra-popular joint concert series with Alan Tam. As if his name isn't enough to get people to buy and listen, Hacken's latest album lines up an elite ensemble of the hottest names in Chinese pop music playing supporting roles. The main plugs are the Khalil Fong-composed What Year is Tonight (Track 3), the Lin Xi-penned She's Sympathetic, I'm Sad (Track 4), and 10,000 Years of Solitude (Track 7) written by Justin Lo. The star-studded track listing also includes the works of other hit singer-songwriters, like Eason Chan's composition Change of Season (Track 10), Mavis Fan's Cheap Sorrow (Track 1), and Together But Lonely (Track 6) offered by Hins Cheung. In addition, Louis Cheung co-writes and duets with Hacken on Papa Sound (Track 5), Jan Lamb chips in on Endurant Gentleman (Track 9), and, of course, Alan Tam returns with Don't Panic (Track 11), another Alan/Hacken concert theme song.
