The annual Tokyo-Hakone Collegiate Ekiden relay marathon is one of the biggest university athletic events of the year in Japan, and its participants are easily some of the hardest working athletes in the country. Their devotion and hard work is at the center of Miura Shion's popular novel Feel the Wind . After its incarnations as a radio drama and a stage play, the inspirational story now hits the silver screen as the directorial debut of writer Omori Sumio ( A Hardest Night ) with stars Koide Keisuke ( Rookies ), Hayashi Kento ( Dive!! ), and Dante Carver, one of Japan's hottest advertising stars. Haiji (Koide Keisuke) transfers to Kansei University and is invited to move into Chikuseiso, the dormitory for the school's relay running team, by Kakeru (Hayashi Kento).
