Iconic Hong Kong diva Anita Mui passed away in 2003 at the age of 40, leaving behind her an inimitable legacy that lives on in Hong Kong culture. Conceived by the Anita Mui fan club Mui Nation, Dearest Anita is a love letter to the beloved superstar and to the people she touched. Co-directed by Clifton Ko and Pako Leung, the film recounts affecting stories surrounding Mui's fans and how much she meant to them through the ups and downs of their lives. Sonija Kwok plays the fan club leader who draws out different stories featuring an ensemble cast that includes Myolie Wu, Alex Lam, Richard Ng, Siu Yam Yam, Joey Tang, Kenneth Tsang and Jun Kung. In 2013, ten years after Anita Mui's passing, the remaining items in her fan gift collection are thrown out. Several dedicated fans rush to the garbage disposal point to sort through her relics and recover items that may be insignificant to others, but are priceless to them. They decide to return the gifts to their original owners, uncovering the moving story behind each item along the way. This edition comes in special packaging with a postcard .
