One of Hong Kong cinema's greatest sex symbols, nineties bombshell Veronica Yip gave a sizzling hot breakout performance in the 1991 feature Hidden Desire . Also co-starring Murakami Rena and Sharon Kwok, the film follows a businessman's romantic and sexual encounters with different women. Hidden Desire is directed by noted photographer, Shaw Brothers actor and filmmaker Ho Fan, who was known for erotic classics like The Girl with the Long Hair and Innocent Lust . David (Lam Chin Fei) becomes romantically involved with Tin Tin (Sharon Kwok), the general manager of the insurance company that he is taking over. At the same time, he also becomes smitten with car dealer Joey (Veronica Yip). Tin Tin appeals to his mind, Joey appeals to his lust, and he can't choose between the two. The two women are also close friends, and Tin Tin eventually chooses to leave Hong Kong. Feeling down and lost, David realizes that sex cannot fill his emptiness, and he decides to separate from Joey as well. Afterwards, David's company gets acquired by a Japanese corporation and he starts a new relationship with Yoshiko (Murakami Rena).
