Directed by Cheng Yu Chieh ( Yang Yang ), Dear Tenant was nominated in six categories at the 57th Golden Horse Film Awards and won three prizes Best Actor for Morning Mo, Best Supporting Actress for Chen Shu Fang, and Best Original Music. The understated yet emotional Taiwan drama subtly depicts the nature of love and family, and the discrimination and misunderstandings faced by the gay community. Lin Chien Yi (Morning Mo) looks after his elderly, ill landlord Chou Xiu Yu (Chen Shu Fang) and adopts her young grandson You Yu (Pai Run Yin).
