In 1997, during Thailand's economic crisis, 15-year-old girls Boum (Thunyaphat Pattarateerachaicharoen) and Ib (Panisara Rikulsurakan) made a promise to commit suicide together after their families fell on hard times. However, Boum backed out at the last minute after watching her best friend die. Two decades later, Boum (TV actress Bee Namthip Jongrachatawiboon) has grown up into a successful businesswoman and the loving mother of her teenage daughter Bell (Apichaya Thongkham).
