Actor-turned-director Wong Cho Lam brings a Hong Kong twist to his film adaptation of the popular off-Broadway musical I Love You, You re Perfect, Now Change ! The funnyman previously wrote lyrics for the Cantonese production of the hit musical by Windmill Grass Theatre that has been regularly staged in Hong Kong since 2005. Now he directs and stars in the silver-screen musical comedy about the different stages of a relationship. Wong gathers a large ensemble cast of local stars including Eric Tsang, Ivana Wong, Teresa Mo, Alex Fong Lik Sun, divas Sammi Cheng and Joey Yung, and Windmill Grass actors Joey Leung, Edmond Tong and Shaw Mei Kwan to portray the vignettes of life and love and perform the film's catchy musical numbers.
