At a time when chaos rules the land, the police can only fight fire with fire. Based on Mochizuki Mikiya's classic manga series, Wild 7 is the latest film from director Hasumi Eiichiro, who knows a thing or two about making blockbusters with the popular Umizaru series. Eita ( Hara-kiri: Death of a Samurai ) leads an all-star cast in this action blockbuster about a group of reformed criminals brought together by the police to take down criminals protected by corrupted government officials. Transporting the original 1970's setting to modern-day Japan, Hasumi packs his explosive action scenes with real spectacle and modern weaponry. To combat rising crime rate, Superintendent Kusanami (Nakai Kiichi) forms a special crime-fighting motorcycle unit comprised of seven reformed criminals: Hiba (Eita), Sekai (Shiina Kippei), Bairou (Maruyama Ryuhei), Socks (Abe Tsuyoshi), Oyabun (Ukaji Takashi), Hebopi (Hirayama Yusuke), and B.B.Q. (Matsumoto Minoru). The team's latest case is to stop a terrorist who has stolen a dangerous virus and is threatening to unleash it on the world. However, the team realizes that they're in for more than they bargained for when they uncover a conspiracy that reaches the highest levels of the government.
