Known for her comedic performances in films like 12 Golden Ducks and Love Detective , singer-actress Ivana Wong becomes a bus driver in The Calling of a Bus Driver , the latest from writer-director Patrick Kong. Co-starring Philip Keung, Edmond Leung and Jacky Cai, the comedy brings both light laughs and a piece of Hong Kong life through the heroine's experiences as a jilted woman who starts anew through bus driving. Happy-go-lucky Suki (Ivana Wong) thought she was heading for the altar with long-time boyfriend Chico (Edmond Leung). Then she discovers that he's cheating on her with his business partner Kiki (Jacky Cai). Heartbroken and unemployed, Suki hits rock bottom, but she doesn't lose hope. Instead, she decides to realize her dream of becoming a bus driver. A year later, Suki receives a wedding invitation from Chico, and she decides to go for closure. At the banquet, she meets Kiki's ex-boyfriend Manny (Philip Keung), who wanted to sabotage the wedding by exposing Kiki's lies. However, Suki accidentally foils his plans. After that, Manny invites Suki to team up with him and get revenge on their exes together.
