Serialized since 2012, the manga Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt is set in UC 0079 during the One Year War when Federation and Zeon forces are locked in fierce battle. Federation pilot Io Flemming gets dispatched to the Thunderbolt Sector, a shoal zone filled with the debris of destroyed spaced colonies, and faces off against Zeon's top sniper, Daryl Lorenz. Sunrise Studios adapted Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt into a four-episode anime that was released online from December 2015 to April 2016. The movie version titled Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt: December Sky encompasses all four episodes plus additional scenes. This edition comes with a 16-page booklet.
