Exploring family, mental health and coming of age themes, the Taiwan drama depicts the strained relationship and changing dynamics between a mother and daughter during the COVID-19 pandemic. Alyssia Chia ( The World Between Us ) plays the mother in an award-winning performance, while new-generation talent Gingle Wang ( Detention ) co-stars as the teenaged daughter. Many familiar faces make supporting or special appearances in the film including Chen Yi Wen, Li Li Ren, Tiffany Ann Hsu, Liu Kuan Ting and singer Waa Wei. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Xiao Jing (Gingle Wang) is required to quarantine at home after a classmate tests positive. Mother and daughter share a tense relationship that worsens during the quarantine period along with Pin Wen's deteriorating mental health. This mother and daughter who share a tense relationship suddenly can't avoid each other. Xiao Jing's mental health begins to deteriorate.
