A singer (Cherry Ngan) is plagued by nightmares and deteriorating mental health after moving into a new home. A YouTuber (Jerry Lamb) has a run-in with another livestreamer (Cecilia So) at a shopping mall that holds a terrifying secret. A writer (Sofiee Ng) and a gangster (Richie Jen) team up with other tenement residents to take on a mysterious dripping-wet figure in the stairwell whom they think may be a vengeful spirit. Directors Fruit Chan, Fung Chih Chiang and Wesley Hoi tell three Tales from the Occult in this 2022 horror anthology set in the urban jungle of Hong Kong. Tales from the Occult played the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, Hong Kong International Film Festival and Udine Far East Film Festival.
