Wang Yibo ( Hidden Blade , The Untamed ) is Born to Fly in the 2023 aerial action drama directed by Liu Xiaoshi and produced by Han Han. The closing film of the 13th Beijing International Film Festival, Born to Fly delivers Top Gun -style entertainment following the growth and trials of a group of young test pilots in the Chinese air force. Veteran Hu Jun and newcomer Yosh Yu ( Creation of the Gods ) co-star in the rousing film, and Zhou Dongyu makes a special appearance. Lei Yu (Wang Yibo) and other skilled pilots officially become test pilots after a rigorous selection process.
