However, on the eve of talks, the Jin envoy dies at the chancellor's residence, and the secret message he carried disappears. Soldier Zhang Da (Shen Teng) and deputy commander Sun Jun (Jackson Yee) get pulled into the tense situation by chance, and Qin Hui orders the two to find the killer within an hour. In the course of the investigation, various suspicious figures and a larger conspiracy emerge.
