An IT geek experiences lessons in love in the Hong Kong romantic comedy Far Far Away ! Written and directed by Amos Why, the winsome film stars Kaki Sham ( Distinction ) as the everyman hero, while Jennifer Yu, Cecilia So, Hanna Chan, Rachel Leung and Crystal Cheung play five different women who appear in his life. With each woman living in a different remote area of Hong Kong, Far Far Away provides a celluloid tour of Hong Kong's nooks and crannies from New Territories villages to outlying islands. Also of note is the film's delightful soundtrack of indie pop. Hau (Kaki Sham) isn't exactly the tall, handsome and popular type. The introverted 28-year old IT worker has only been in one relationship in his life. But this all changes over a special year in which he meets five women of very different personalities and backgrounds. The one thing all five women have in common is: they live far away from the city. The roads to their homes are long and winding, and some aren't accessible by car.
