A walk-up building reveals layers of stories and relationships in Hong Sang Soo's 28th feature Walk Up . Handsomely filmed in black and white, the rich and witty drama was shown at the Toronto International Film Festival and the San Sebastian International Film Festival. A middle-aged director (Kwon Hae Hyo) meets up with his daughter (Park Mi So) whom he hasn't seen in a long time. He takes her to visit interior designer Ms. Kim (Lee Hye Young), who owns a multi-story building that she renovated herself. They talk over drinks and Ms. Kim shows them the apartments on each floor, one by one.
