Nobita, Doraemon and friends travel back 70,000 years in time in the 36th Doraemon adventure film, Nobita and the Birth of Japan 2016 ! To escape the pressures of school and family, Nobita and his friends decide to run away from home. They travel back to pre-historic Japan where free land is plentiful and create a paradise of their own, complete with three mystical beasts. Due to a blip in the space-time continuum, they run into a boy from ancient times, Kukuru, and learn that his tribe has been enslaved by another tribe led by a mysterious shaman.
