Directed by Okada Mari, Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Kojo is MAPPA animation studio's first original feature. The film follows middle school student Masamune who lives in a town where time has stood still ever since a steel mill explosion caused the town to be sealed off from the rest of the world. In this gloomy town, residents are forbidden to change, but an encounter between Masamune and two mysterious girls will upset the balance of the world. The Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Kojo soundtrack features music created by Yokoyama Masaru. The film's theme song Shinon by Nakajima Miyuki is also on the soundtrack.
