Premiered at the 71st Berlin International Film Festival, Hong Sang Soo's 2021 film Introduction received the Silver Bear for Best Screenplay. Aspiring actor Young Ho (Shin Seok Ho) visits his father's clinic, and waits all day until he is done with appointments. Studying abroad in Germany, Joo Won (Park Mi So) saves money by staying at the place of her mother's old friend. Young Ho flies to Berlin to see his girlfriend Joo Won. After returning to Korea, he goes out to dinner with his mom and a friend of hers, a theater actor whom he encountered at his father's clinic.
