Jesus and Buddha share an apartment in suburban Tokyo in Saint Young Men ! Gintama director Fukuda Yuichi adapts Nakamura Hikari's slice-of-life comedy manga Saint Oniisan into a multi-part live-action series starring Matsuyama Kenichi and Sometani Shota. Produced by Yamada Takayuki, the adaptation was aired on Piccoma TV series and had a limited theater release. The uncanny comedy reveals what happens when Buddha (Sometani Shota) and Jesus (Matsuyama Kenichi) take a vacation in the mortal world to experience the enlightening and peculiar adventures and obstacles of daily life.
