Director Miyake Sho ( And Your Bird Can Sing ) brings a different kind of sports drama in the acclaimed film Small, Slow But Steady , loosely based on the autobiography of boxer Ogasawa Keiko. Kishii Yukino ( Living In Your Sky ) delivers a brilliantly understated performance as a young deaf boxer slowly sorting out her way in the ring and in life. Born deaf in both ears, Keiko (Kishii Yukino) isn't good at telling lies or laughing. Under the guidance of her fatherly coach Sasaki (Miura Tomokazu), she has forged a path to the ring as a pro boxer. Keiko continues to train every day at a small boxing gym in a neighborhood in the midst of redevelopment. However, Sasaki's health is deteriorating and the gym's future is in question during the pandemic. Keiko's mother (Nakajima Hiroko) has never understood why she fights, and now Keiko also finds herself lacking the will to compete. This edition comes with making-of, event footage and trailers.
