Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, bears many secrets. Jumunjin, a remote port city in Gangwon-do province in eastern Korea, has its own share of mysteries as well in the 2001 thriller Kilimanjaro starring Park Shin Yang and Ahn Sung Ki. Detective Hye Sik (Park Shin Yang) shows up in Jumunjin with his twin brother's ashes. Unknown to Hye Sik, his brother had been involved with the local gangs. Upon his arrival, the gangs mistake Hye Sik for his brother and the detective begins to wonder about his late brother's involvement with them. Posing as his brother, Hye Sik infiltrates the underworld and uncovers the truth behind his brother's death.
