Director Kim Ki Duk ( Moebius , Pieta ) questions the meaning of social justice through his thought-provoking revenge thriller One on One . Screened at the 71st Venice International Film Festival, the 19th Busan International Film Festival and the 2014 Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival, the brutally violent film follows a band of vigilantes played by Ma Dong Seok ( Chronicles of Evil ), Lee Yi Kyung ( The Pirates ), Jo Dong In ( The Stone ), Yoo Tae Oh ( Seoul Searching ), An Ji Hye ( The Winter of the Year was Warm ), Kim Joong Ki ( See, Beethoven ) and Jo Jae Ryong ( Pieta ) who take extreme measures to punish a group of savage murder suspects. A high school girl is cruelly murdered by a group of contract killers. However, one of the members feels sick of the excessive violence and questions the revenge plan. As the disputes escalate among the members, contract killer Oh Hyun (Kim Young Min, Madonna ) tries to find out their identities.
