This is where she spent the early years of her childhood. Her family moved to Sudbury Ontario, Canada when she was 12 years old. Here, her father got a job working in the mines. The northern Ontario’s terrain is greatly different from that of Tuscany and the winters can be bitterly cold, very long, and harsh. During these cold and long winters and being home sick her parents often spoke of the beautiful Tuscan landscape with a lot of admiration. These good-looking landscapes were scattered with fruit orchards and vineyards, which were green and lush, changing to golden with the setting sun. Always wanting to make her parents happy, she started to paint and draw the images her parents had described and the images she remembered from her childhood. Her interest in art developed and over the years of painting for her parents Carmen finally accumulated many paintings and, looking at their quality, she was encouraged to have a show. This show went beyond her expectation. It was so successful that she began doing landscape paintings full-time. Her works fascinate many collectors and viewers, more so because they are made with the collectors and viewers in mind. She creates images in which the figurative and the abstract blend very well with one another. This has made his art to be very attractive and to be in high demand. She doesn’t fear to paint and can take projects that other artists can shy away from.
